Here’s a sample of my work for a mock client, Sarah, a freelance coach who wanted to re-engage her audience ahead of her coaching program launch.

Project Overview

Sarah, a freelance coach, helps mid-level freelancers build consistent five-figure monthly incomes through her digital course and 1:1 coaching.

She had a list of 2,710 subscribers that hadn’t been nurtured for nearly six months. As a result, her open rates declined sharply, and she hadn’t made any course sales from email since January.

Sarah wanted to reactivate her ghost subscribers, segment warm readers, and prime her list for an upcoming course launch.

To do this, I cleaned her list by removing bounce emails, segmented subscribers based on their past engagement, and crafted a total of nine emails spread across three targeted sequences. After the campaign, I analyzed the results and re-segmented the list to optimize for even better engagement moving forward.

Segment 1

Recently Dormants

These subscribers engaged with an email approximately 181–240 days ago, just before the 6-month email silence began. They were the last active group before the list went cold, making them the warmest re-engagement targets. 

I opened with a trust rebuilding re-intro, delivered a relatable transformation story, and closed with a low-pressure, time-sensitive CTA.

SEGMENT 2

Inactive Webinar Participants

These subscribers joined through Sarah’s Scale Your Impact webinar series in 2022–2023, but haven’t opened or clicked in at least 240+ days. They once invested serious time and interest, making them high-intent but long-cold leads.

I re-engaged past webinar attendees by delivering updated, high-value insights addressing their core pain point, closing with a simple, low-friction CTA.

Segment 3

Lead Magnet Cold Leads

These subscribers opted in for a lead magnet during 2022–2023 but haven’t shown any engagement in 240+ days. Their interest was likely surface-level, and with no follow-up since, they’ve long gone cold.

I reconnect with lead magnet subscribers by offering practical, proven shifts to break their low-pay cycle, guiding them toward strategic growth with a clear, no-pressure next step
